Core FTP is a freeware application for uploading files to an FTP server. To configure, please follow the setup guide below.
Site Manager
- Open Core FTP the Site Manager window should open automatically
- If not click on Sites Site Manger
- Click on New Site and type in a Site Name
- Enter FTP server into Host/IP/URL
- ftp.yourdomain.com.au
- Enter your Username and Password:
- use the FTP username and password provided by MediaCloud Support
Remote Directory
- Click on the Advanced button
- Click on Directory/Folder
- Remote Start Folder: This is what folder is shown on the FTP server once connected.
- Local Start Folder: This is what directory is shown from the local file system when you connect to this connection
- Click OK
- Click Connect
Connecting to a site
- Open Core FTP the Site Manager window should open automatically
- If not click on Sites Site Manger
- Select the site from the left hand list
- Click Connect
Uploading
- After you have connected to the server
- Browse for files you would like to upload in the left hand side of the Core FTP window
- Drag files to the right hand side of the window
