NNTP Errors

This is a lit of NNTP Errors which you may come across when using Microsoft Outlook. To find a specific error code, press CTRL+F and type it into the search bar.

0x800CCCA0 - News server response error

1. Recheck account information (news server and login information) and check if login details are case sensitive.
2. The news server connection limit may have been reached.
3. Recreate the news account.

0x800CCCA1 - Newsgroup access failed

1. Recheck account information (news server and login information) and check if login details are case sensitive.
2. The news server connection limit may have been reached.
3. Recreate the news account.

0x800CCCA2 - List command to server failed

1. In the Server tab of the news account properties window, tick "this server requires me to log on" and specify your account name and password.

1. Try resubscribing to the newsgroup.

0x800CCCA7 - Message header not found

1. Try resubscribing to the newsgroup.

1. Try resubscribing to the newsgroup.
2. Recreate the news account.

0x800CCCA9 - Unable to post to server

1. You may need to specify login information.

0x800CCCAA - Unable to open next message

1. Try resubscribing to the newsgroup.
