The file manager is a simple alternative to accessing your site files, but sometimes you might require the functionality of an FTP client. To proceed with a basic FTP Account setup, please follow the instructions below:



Creating an FTP Account

From within the cPanel, click the FTP Accounts button. Enter your desired login and password. Select the default directory, generally this will be puplic_html/. Click Create FTP Account to conclude the setup

 

Note: Please refer to Default Mail & FTP settings for setup instructions.
